15-Year-Old Charged With Twice Daily Robbery

SPRINGFIELD TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – A 15-year-old Hendersonville teen has been charged with two counts of aggravated robbery, a B felony, in connection to the Twice Daily robbery in Springfield that occurred on Sunday July 3rd MORE and another robbery at the One Stop Food Mart on Sanders Ferry Road in Hendersonville on Tuesday, July 4th.

According to Springfield Police Detective Chuck Consiglio, the teen confessed to the two robberies this afternoon. After executing a search warrant at the teen’s residence, police were able to obtain the weapon used which according to Detective
Consiglio was a pellet gun.

Detective Consiglio said that fingerprint and DNA evidence was also collected.

The arrest came as a result of a joint effort between Hendersonville and Springfield detectives, who working together, we’re able to clear up two armed robberies, Consiglio said.

Detective Consiglio told Smokey Barn News that the teen is currently on probation in Sumner County on an unrelated offense.

Robertson County does not have a juvenile detention facility, however Sumner County does. According to Consiglio, the teen will be held in Sumner County which will save Robertson County tax payers a significant amount of money.
