2015 Annual Spring Discover White House – Bigger & Better!
FREE Family/Community Event
Plans are in full swing and booth space is filling up for Discover White House on Saturday, April 18 at Heritage High School. There are several changes and additions to the popular Spring event, but the one thing that won’t change is the great caliber of businesses and vendors participating in the expo. Booth space is available to any business, club, church, organization, crafter, food provider, etc. Booth space can be reserved by contacting the White House Chamber of Commerce the registration form is available at www.whitehousechamber.org.
New this year are two exciting activities for the community and those in attendance. The White House Chamber has partnered with GreenSpringJump and Temple Baptist Church to provide a Kid’s Zone complete with bounce houses. The White House 
Community Initiative for the Arts will be hosting their first, White House has got Talent – Talent Show. Participants must register in advance to take the stage and there will be cash prizes and standing engagements for the winners. The Talent Show will begin at 11:30 in the auditorium.
The Silent Auction is growing as great items are being added almost daily. This year’s big item, provided by Tate Ornamental, is 50 square feet of category 1 stone countertops that includes installation and a stainless steel sink, all valued at over $2,500. Some other items include an authentic Coach handbag, Titan’s apparel, gift cards, gift baskets, framed art, massage, Fossil handbag, toys, grill sets and much more. Follow the White House Chamber’s Facebook page as auction items will be updated regularly on that site as will additions to Discover White House.
