Raw Footage (WITH AUDIO) Of Springfield Armed Robbery
Twice Daily Gas Station Robbed At Gunpoint Early Sunday
SPRINGFIELD TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – Springfield Police are releasing chilling security video footage of an armed robbery that occurred early Sunday morning in Springfield. In an unusual step, police have decided to release the audio recording of the robbery in hopes that someone will recognize the voices of the men.
The two men, armed with a handgun and wearing masks, walked into Daily’s gas station/convenience store on Memorial Blvd early Sunday and demanded money.
Police say no one was injured in the incident that occurred just before 3:00 am. The station is located at 17 Memorial Blvd, directly across from the Robertson County fairgrounds.
Police say the men escaped with a small amount of cash from the register and a few packs of cigarettes. Before entering the store the men struck outside cameras to point them away from crime scene.
