Arrests Made In Cedar Hill, Adams & Clarksville Car Theft, Burglaries 

ADAMS/CEDAR HILL TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – Robertson County Deputies received several calls from citizens reporting vehicle burglaries in the Cedar Hill and Adams areas. As deputies began investigating, the suspect vehicle was located in Montgomery County. Deputies pursued the vehicle to Davidson County with the assistance of Tennessee Highway Patrol Air Support.

The Tennessee NorthCrest World Class care 300 bHighway Patrol stopped the vehicle, and two subjects, identified as Marquise Whitson and Curtis Young, were both arrested and taken to the Davidson County Jail.

Deputies with the Robertson County Sheriff’s Office have recovered a majority of property from a total of seven car burglaries and one motor vehicle theft on 11/28/2016. Charges are pending on the subjects for burglary, theft, felony evading arrest, evading arrest, driving on suspended, and reckless endangerment. These two subjects are also suspected in burglaries and thefts from the Clarksville/Montgomery County area.

“While it is unfortunate that these crimes happen, it is always a great day when we are able to return belongings to victims and get criminals off the street,” said Chief Deputy Michael Van Dyke. “I appreciate the quick work of our deputies and other law enforcement partners for following leads to find the suspects responsible for these crimes. ”
