According to a neighbor, the house was foreclosed and unoccupied. The neighbor told Smokey that there was some activity at the home shortly before the fire. According to the neighbor, around 8:30PM all the lights came on in the home and there was a white Chevrolet truck with two white males and a woman at the home for about 15 minutes. Three hours later, the home was on fire. Another neighbor may have seen people at the home closer to 7:00PM.

No one was injured in the fire.
