November 27 – 10th Annual Hendersonville, Tn Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony & Activities

At Memorial Park at 151 E Main Street in Hendersonville from 3pm – 7pm! While the Christmas tree lighting is the star of the show, this event offers free fun for the family with live entertainment, food trucks, and more!

Starting December 1st-31st “Lights On Logan light show”

We’re back! The 2016 Lights On Logan light show will begin on December 1. This year we have 35,295 lights synchronized to 368 channels of computer controlled animation. The show will be running from December 1 thru December 31 from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m.

Location: 2760 Logan Road Greenbrier, TN.

The light show runs every 20 minutes from 5p.m. until 10p.m. (11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays) Tune your car stereo to 101.7 FM when you arrive to hear the show.

Set up on King St. from Hwy 41 (behind the Farmers Bank) all floats must be in position by 6:30pm to participate. (Lights must be on all entries) Parade begins on Lake Rd, North on Hwy 41, East On Woodruff Ave. and disperse at Ridgetop Station Park where everyone can meet Santa Claus & enjoy music and refreshments. December 2-3 Goodlettsville, Tn “Christmas On Main Street” festivities

The City of Goodlettsville is proud to present Christmas on Main during the first weekend in December. These events will include a Christmas Tree Lighting event on Friday night and the annual Christmas Parade on Saturday afternoon. To round out the weekend, join the staff and friends of Historic Mansker’s Station in Moss-Wright Park for Yulefest, a Christmas tradition for many families. All of these events are free to the public.

The parade begins at the Delmas Long Community Center (200 Memorial Drive) and continues up Memorial Drive, taking a right onto Main Street and ending at the Goodlettsville Plaza (Rivergate Parkway).

December 3 (Saturday) Pleasant View Christmas Parade 10am

The Christmas Parade for the Town of Pleasant View will be held on Saturday, December 3rd at 10:00 a.m. Lineup will begin at 9:00 a.m. at the 24 Church off of Substation Road. If you would like to have your float or vehicle judged for the parade trophies, please stop by City Hall to fill out your registration form or call us at 615-746-0600 to sign up. Vehicles and entries not wishing to be judged for the trophies, but simply want to participate, are welcome to get in line beginning at 9:00 a.m. at the 24 Church parking lot off of Substation Road.

This year’s theme is “It’s a Wonderful Life” so there are a lot of possibilities and we can’t wait to see what the community comes up with. The first place winner will receive $300, second will receive $150 and third place will get a sweet $100. So now’s the time to gather your ideas and design a prize-winning float for the White House Christmas Parade.

December 3 Portland, Tn Christmas Festival & Parade – Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree

Join us for the Annual Portland Christmas Festival & Parade on Saturday, December 3rd!

Festival Activities: 3:00-5:30pm on Main Street

(Activities include a visit with Santa, Cookie Decorating, Christmas Crafts, Vendors and more! Delaney’s Street Eats will have their food truck set up, the Senior Citizens will be selling homemade desserts & hot chocolate, and Generation Church will be playing live music!)

December 3, 2016 5:00pm Clarksville, Tn 57th Annual Lighted Christmas Parade

Downtown Clarksville Be a part of a Clarksville tradition by participating in this year’s annual night-time event by walking, preparing a float, or driving a fun vehicle all decked out in holiday cheer! This year’s theme is “Christmas Trees & Memories”

Come join us and watch the Clarksville Christimas Parade. The parade begins at Austin Peay and runs through Historic Downtown Clarksville. We will have hot drinks, snacks and access to indoor clean bathrooms. Please bring a folding chair and blankets to keep warm. No need to feed the meters they are free!!!

The annual Christmas Parade is more than 34 years old in Hendersonville. Judges include Holly Thompson and Scott Couch. December 8 4th Annual On Wings of Love Ceremony

4th Annual On Wings of Love Ceremony sponsored by the Robertson Co. District Attorney General’s Office. On Wings of Love is a memorial celebration for the family and friends of homicide victims in Robertson Co. Anyone who has lost a love one due to violent crime is invited to prepare and present a Christmas ornament in honor of their lost loved one. The ceremony will be held at the Stokes-Brown Public Library in Springfield on December 8th at 5:30pm. The ornaments will be on display at the library throughout the month of December. We would like to invite the public to attend the ceremony in honor of those whose lives ended tragically and too soon.

December 10th Gallatin, Tn Christmas Parade  at Noon

The parade route travels through Downtown Gallatin. The parade can be watched anywhere along the parade route. If you want to get an up close and personal view, watch from the Gallatin Public Square. Robertson County Historical Society Annual “Christmas Tour Of Homes.” We Have Five Locations This Year, Including The History Museum. All Homes Are Located In Springfield, Tn. December 9th – Greenbrier judging Christmas Light displays for businesses and homes.

For the first time, the City of Greenbrier will be judging Christmas Light displays for businesses and homes. City hall staff will be going around town between now and December 9, 2016, to pick a winner. The recognition of the winner in both categories will be announced at the Tree Lighting ceremony directly following the parade on December 10, 2016. Refreshments and entertainment will be provided at the ceremony. The parade will begin at 4:30 pm and everyone is invited to share in the festivities.


December 10 – 3rd Annual Greenbrier, Tn Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting Ceremony at 4:30 PM – 7 PM

Parade Lineup will begin at 3:30 PM at GES.  The parade will commence at 4:30 pm. The route will follow US 41 from Greenbrier Elementary School south to Cuniff Drive. US 41 will be closed to motor vehicle traffic approximately 15 minutes prior to the start of the parade. All those who wish to enter a float or otherwise participate in the parade must pick up an entry form from Greenbrier City Hall. The form must be returned no later that December 2, 2016.

On the day of the parade, floats, cars, etc. must enter the Greenbrier Elementary School parking lot utilizing the northern most entrance. The main entrance will be closed to allow for the parade participants to line up. Police officers will be on hand to direct you into the lot.

Be sure to dress your float in lights to go along with our theme for this year’s Parade. Cash Prizes will be given out to the three best floats! Please do not throw candy out if you are participating in the Parade.

The Tree Lighting Ceremony will follow the Christmas Parade on The City Hall grounds. The city will be providing food, drinks, and live music & bonfire to celebrate the holiday season. We hope to see you there!
