According to Springfield Police Accident Investigators at the scene, preliminarily, it appears that the driver of the Jeep, traveling North on Tom Austin, failed to yield at the light and connected with the van traveling East on Nicklaus Dr. MAP   A witness said the van had a green light when it entered the intersection, Police said.

After impact, the van (owned by Five Star Building Group in Springfield) spun around and overturned landing on its side.

A representative with Five Star Building Group reached out to Smokey Barn News to say that they were very relieved to learn that everyone in both vehicles were able to escape the crash without injuries. Vehicles can be replaced, people can’t.
