Flash Flood Warning Until 11:45PM, More Rain On The Way

ROBERTSON COUNTY TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – The national weather service in Nashville has issued a flash flood warning for central Sumner county in middle Tennessee east central Robertson county in middle Tennessee until 11:45 pm.

At 9:43 pm , Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms continuing to develop and produce heavy rain across the warned area. Radar estimated one to three inches of rain have already fallen, especially near Bethpage. Flash flooding is expected to begin
Shortly.

Some locations that will experience flooding include White House, Cross Plains and Bethpage.

Precautionary/preparedness actions:

A flash flood warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring. If you are in the warned area move to higher ground immediately. Residents living along streams and creeks should take immediate Precautions to protect life and property.

The roads are slick and viability is low. Officials are responding to an accident involving an overturned vehicle near Owens Chapel Rd & Cross Plains Rd. just outside of Cross Plains. The call came in a 10:20pm.
