Former Firefighter’s Home Gutted By Fire Friday

A former Fighter and Assistant Fire Chief For the White House Volunteer fire Department, Rick Overby, came home to find his house in Springfield had been gutted by fire. The home is located on the corner of William Woodard Road and Hwy 431. Crews from around the county battled the fire that officials say is suspicious. The fire was under investigation but as we understand it now the cause of the fire is being blamed an electrical problem.
