Goodpasture Christian Schools Celebrates 50 Years
and Announces Major Plans

MIDDLE TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) –It has been a very exciting year on the campus of Goodpasture Christian School! Outstanding enrollment, new programs, state of the art technology, and major renovations to several areas of the campus started off the school year in August! In September, the school held a 50 Year Gala and hosted over 500 guests who came to celebrate Goodpasture’s rich history and look toward the future.

Major plans were unveiled for a multi-million dollar capital campaign which includes:

  • New stadium enhancements, restrooms, and concessions areas
  • A new Middle School building for grades 5-8
  • New audio and video studios
  • An entrepreneurial center for grades 6-12
  • An invention lab in which students can create working prototypes of their creations and products, and learn how to present ideas to potential investors or buyers.
  • A Missions Center will also be included within the new building which will be used to help coordinate the many community service opportunities and mission trips conducted by the school.
  • New greenspace on campus and a new main entrance are also part of phase one.
  • Two additional phases are planned which will enhance many other buildings and areas.

Many of the new programs and creative spaces will provide students with opportunities which are unavailable to most schools and student populations.

One might ask how all of these ambitious goals can be attained at Goodpasture within the near future. Since Goodpasture is a debt free campus, the school is able to move forward with future plans and programs more expeditiously.

Goodpasture graduates already enjoy the opportunity to earn up to 45 hours of college credit while in high school and average $84,000 per year in college scholarships.

The new programs and enhancements will continue to increase opportunities for students and graduates as they transition to college and the workplace.
