Greenbrier Water Main Break Affects Half The City
GREENBRIER TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – Water service officials in Greenbrier tell Smokey Barn News that a water main break that occurred around 11pm Friday evening may be affecting as much as half the city.
Officials said that the circumstances of the break make it difficult to estimate how long the water will be out, saying it could be two hours, it could be four.
Greenbrier engineers have been working on the break since it was first discovered last night, literally working through the night and morning to repair the line.
Officials have have to contend with fences, trees, wires, a home and a steep embankment, all making it difficult to get equipment to the break.

The location of the break is Hwy 41 between Industrial Blvd and Candy St. MAP
