Jerry Teasley Retires From RC Schools After 41 Years Of Service
ROBERTSON COUNTY TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – Jerry Teasley, long time courier for Robertson County Schools, has retired after 41 years of service.
He began his career at Greenbrier High School in 1976 as a custodian. In 1992 he was tapped to be the courier, delivering interoffice mail daily to schools and school board 
offices around the county. School mail has always been called “Jerry Mail” and it will be hard to think of it by any other name! He continued in that position for 25 years until his retirement June 30, 2017.
Jerry always liked to joke around and anyone who knows him is well aware of his dry sense of humor, his quick wit and his unforgettable quotes and sayings.
A barbecue potluck luncheon was held in his honor at the School Board Office on June 20 with co-workers, family and friends attending and wishing him well. Many stories were shared about Jerry, but true to form, he had the last word and the last laugh.
He will be greatly missed when school starts back in the fall by all of his friends and co-workers but he will be remembered and talked about for many years to come.
