Large Power Outage Hits Robertson County
UPDATE: Power restored…
The outage lasted about 30 minutes. CEMC officials tell Smokey Barn News that the outage was a Cross Plains substation. We don’t have a cause yet.
ROBERTSON COUNTY TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – Engineers with CEMC are currently working to restore power to customers in Springfield, Cross Plains, White House, and Greenbrier.
Our best estimate is that power to the affected area has been out since about 9:00pm.
Smokey Barn News is working hard to isolate the cause and get an estimate on how long until power is restored.
So far about 3,600 customers are affected at this time.
OUTAGE REVISED: The outage now covers just over 5,000 customers.
If you are without power report your general location in comments.
According to a source, the size of the outage looks like a primary line or a substation is out.
