Lost Black Cattle Found Wandering Up Hwy 76
Sunday afternoon a call came into 911 that several cows had escaped and were meandering up Hwy 76 near Bethlehem Rd in Springfield. After the cows made their escape authorities were immediately notified.
The general location of the escape is roughly half way between Springfield and White House on Hwy 76 near Bethlehem Baptist Church. Location of escape attempt. The call came into 911 at 5:20 Sunday evening and the owners have not been identified.
The cows do have identifying marks that will need to be described before the cows can be claimed. The cows are at present in good condition and being well cared for.
UPDATE: 7:30AM Monday: The owner of the cows have been found. Thank you to all that helped.
