Mail Carrier Hospitalized After Rollover Accident In Springfield
SPRINGFIELD TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) A Springfield Mail Carrier was hospitalized following a rollover accident Friday morning.
The accident occurred on New Chapel Rd one mile from 5th Ave just before 11:00am. (Location of accident)
The accident is still under investigation by the Tennessee Highway Patrol but what we understand so far is that the mail delivery vehicle left the roadway on New Chapel Rd, impacted a utility pole and overturned.
The driver was transported to NorthCrest Medical Center in Springfield via EMS ground in stable condition.
The Springfield Fire Department, Robertson County EMS and EMA, the THP, and the Robertson County Sheriff’s office all responded to the call.
