 Man Lifeflighted After Rollover On Kelly Willis Rd In Greenbrier

A young man in Greenbrier was LifeFlighted after the vehicle he was in overturned on Kelly Willis Ed just after 5:30PM Thursday. (Exact Location Of Wreck) There were four occupants and three escaped unharmed, however one passenger (19 year old Kenneth Niewiemski) was transported with unknown injuries at the time he was LifeFlighted.

Kelly Winnis Rd was closed for about two hours while crews worked the wreck and cleaned up the scene. Greenbrier Police tell Smokey that drugs or Alcohol were not a factor in the accident. The accident is still under investigation but according to Greenbrier police investigator Sgt. Chris Jones,  preliminarily, the cause of the accident is being attributed to speed.

UPDATE: Authorities tell Smokey this evening that after being evaluated by Vanderbilt Medical Center, Mr. Niewiemski’s injuries were not life threatening and he is expected to recover.

Smokey would like to wish Mr. Niewiemski a speedy recovery.
