Metro Police Chase Ends With Upside Down Car In Greenbrier

SPRINGFIELD TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – A Metro Nashville Police pursuit ended in Greenbrier Wednesday evening with an upside down vehicle and a suspect in custody.

Metro Police told Smokey Barn News that they began a pursuit of a stolen vehicle at the intersection of Dickerson Rd and Old Hickory Blvd. The 15 mile chase continued up through Goodlettsville, past Millersville into Ridgetop and finally Greenbrier. PATH

The pursuit ended just after 11:30 p.m. when the vehicle left the roadway, went up an embankment and went airborne coming to rest on Old Greenbrier Pike near Kelly Willis Rd. (Location of wreck) A witness, Jeff Clouse, said when the vehicle went airborne it was like something out of the Dukes Of Hazzard.

According to Metro Police, the driver sustained only minor injures and was transported to the Metro Nashville Jail.
