Multiple Wrecks Across Robertson County Thursday

ROBERTSON COUNTY TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – Thursday was a busy day for Robertson County first responders as they dealt with four accidents involving passenger vehicles.

The first three accidents coincidentally occurred in the Cross Plains Orlinda area. MAP The first two in the morning hours involved two separate accidents with vehicles that left the roadway and collided with utility poles, one on Roy Cole Rd and the other one at the intersection of Hwy 52 and Starks Rd. Then late Thursday afternoon two vehicles collided nearly head-on on Cross Plains Rd near Owens Chapel Rd..  Fortunately no serious injuries were reported.

Thursday evening around 9:30 a passenger vehicle sustained heavy damage in what authorities are calling a rear in type collision. The accident occurred on Hwy 49 near Central Ave in Springfield. MAP Again no life-threatening injuries reported. We have reached out to officials for the causes of all four accidents, as soon as we have that information we will bring it to you.
