One Hospitalized In Rollover Crash In Springfield

SPRINGFIELD TENNESSEE (Smokey Barn News) – One person was hospitalized in a two car rollover crash in Springfield Thursday.

The accident occurred on Memorial Blvd near Little Caesars Pizza around 3pm. MAP According to accident investigators with Springfield Police, preliminarily, a passenger vehicle pulling onto Memorial Blvd collided with an SUV.

The impact caused the SUV to overturn, landing on it’s side in the Northbound side of Memorial Blvd. The driver of the SUV was transported to an area hospital with minor injuries, according to Assistant EMS Director Russell Gupton. The driver of the passenger vehicle was not injured.

The accident intermittently closed all Northbound lanes of Memorial Blvd while crews cleaned up the scene and removed the overturned vehicle from the roadway.

Springfield Police, Springfield Fire and Robertson County EMS all responded to the crash.
