One Hospitalized In Two Vehicle Rollover In Cedar Hill

CEDAR HILL TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – Two vehicles collided nearly head-on Friday night on Turnersville Rd. (Location of accident) One man was pinned inside one of the vehicles and had to be extricated by Pleasant View Firefighters using hydraulic equipment. The accident occurred just before midnight Friday night.

Neighbors that heard the crash and came out to investigate found the driver of the van trapped inside, “The man (estimated to be in his late 20’s) was screaming in pain,” they said. According to officials at the scene his injuries did not appear to be life threatening. The 21 year old driver of the pickup that overturned was not injured.

According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, preliminarily, the van appears to have crossed the center line in the 3600 block of Turnersville Rd and made contact with the pickup nearly head-on. The THP indicated that based on evidence at the scene they were investigating the possibility that alcohol may have been a factor in the accident.

The Pleasant View Volunteer Fire Department, Robertson County EMS and EMA, the Tennessee Highway Patrol and the Robertson County Sheriff’s Office all responded to the scene.
