Orlinda Seniors Participate In Bomb Preparedness Training

ORLINDA TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – Normally Orlinda Tennessee is peaceful and quiet. It’s the place you go to get away from it all, except for today when the small town was besieged by disaster experts from across the county for a morning of training.

The purpose of the training had two parts; one, provide bomb or disaster preparedness training to seniors at the Byrum Porter Senior Center and, two, it was an opportunity for first responders and bomb experts to look for ways to improve their response process.

Part of being ready for a disaster is constant training and education. Smokey Barn News had cameras rolling at Thursday morning’s exercise to offer you an inside look at what goes on when disaster strikes.
