SPRINGFIELD TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News)  The Robertson County-Springfield Farmers Market holds its annual Customer Appreciation Day on Saturday, July 29, 2017.

Saturday’s customers can can enjoy giveaway prizes every 30 minutes from market vendors and from Pick Tennessee Products including local vegetables, fruit, honey, crafts, ornamental plants, and fresh-cut flowers, as well as Pick Tennessee produce shopping bags and other items.

There will be homemade ice cream, free cookies for the kids, face painting, music, artisans and more. Ample free parking is adjacent to the market.

All items sold at the Springfield market are grown or produced on Robertson County farms. The market’s pavilion is typically crowded with a full complement of farm-direct options, a testament to the quality and diversity of the county’s agriculture.
