Robertson County Students Represented at the “Future Stars” Football Classic

Robertson County Students Represented at the “Future Stars” Football Classic Eric Herring, Jr. of Jo Byrns High School and Dayron Johnson of Springfield Middle School were selected for the 7th Grade Tennessee “Future Stars” Football Team.

Participants were chosen from all over Tennessee. Hundreds of players turned out for tryouts held Memphis, Knoxville, Chattanooga, and Nashville.

Herring and Johnson were 2 of 57 players selected to represent the Tennessee team. Herring and Johnson will play in the 5th Annual “Future Stars” Kentucky vs. Tennessee Classic on June 21, 2014.

The game will be held at Kentucky Wesleyan College in Owensboro, Kentucky. Both players will prepare for the Classic at a three-day camp at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville.

Eric Herring, Jr. is the son of Eric and Katrina Herring. Dayron is the son of Brodrick and Sharon West, and David Johnson.
