Springfield Gas Station Robbed Again

SPRINGFIELD TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – Springfield Police are reaching out to the community for assistance in solving an armed robbery.

Around 3am on November 23 a man brandishing a silver “chrome semi-automatic pistol” walked into Twice Daily located at 17 Memorial Blvd across from the Robertson County Fairground and demanded money.

The clerk complied with his demands and handed over $65 in cash.  At one point the suspect tells the clerk to look under the cash drawer for more money. The suspect then fled.

The suspect is described as a black male, wearing a blue hoodie pull over, a silver bandanna covering his face, black tennis shoes and black pants and a gray shirt under the hoodie.

After the robbery the suspect fled South on Memorial behind the store towards the Greenway. MAP

Ironically it has been almost a year to the day that this same business was robbed at gunpoint. MORE
