Springfield Man Shot In Shoulder During Fight Sunday

SPRINGFIELD TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – On Sunday December 13, just after 2:30p.m. Springfield officers were dispatched to NorthCrest Medical Center in reference to a gunshot victim, according to Springfield Police.

Upon arrival, officers spoke to Brandon Farmer age 21 of Springfield, TN. Mr. Farmer stated that he was shot once in the shoulder attempting to break up a fight between his brother and an unknown suspect near Childress Street, Police said.

According to Springfield Police, Farmer was shot by the unknown man fighting with his brother as he tried to break up the fight.

The suspect was observed leaving the area in a black Chevrolet Malibu.
