Traffic Advisory (Springfield Hwy 49 and Wilks)
SPRINGFIELD TENNESSEE (Smokey Barn News) – Two separate traffic accidents on Hwy 49 near Wilks Rd in Springfield are causing traffic delays. Both accidents occurred around 2:15 p.m.
RECOMMENDATION: If you must travel that direction delay your departure or use 41 to 25 or Hwy 76.
At least one person was transported, however we have reports of occupants out walking around after one the accidents.
UPDATE: 3:26 p.m. Officials have opened up one lane of Hwy 49 but that may change as tow trucks arrive to remove the vehicles.
