According to police, around 1:20AM Sunday morning Goodlettsville Police responded to a traffic accident on I-65 northbound near the 97 mile marker which is the Long Hollow Pike exit. (Location of wreck)

After a preliminary investigation, police indicated that a Toyota Tacoma pickup truck with three occupants left the roadway on I-65 to the right and a side mirror clipped a sign.

Police say the vehicle then went across the roadway, as it did, the front of the truck struck the inside wall of the bridge over East Cedar Street and then rolled multiple times.  The rear of the truck then hit the same wall and the truck came to rest in the roadway.

Samuel Richardson, 28, of Greenbrier, driving a Saturn, was also on I65 at that same time. Samuel was unable to avoid the wreck and collided with the Toyota.
