18 Yr Old Sentenced In 2017 R.C. School Bomb Threats Case
SPRINGFIELD TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – This afternoon, 18-year-old Austin Scylor Holliman, a former Greenbrier student, pled guilty to conspiracy to commit terroristic threats in the Circuit Court of Robertson County. Holliman was sentenced to 8 years (one year to serve in jail and seven years on supervised probation).
On March 6th, 2017 -Austin Scylor Holliman, was arrested and charged with one count of commission of acts of terrorism after it was found he was responsible for calling in bomb threats to Robertson County Schools.
Holliman formerly attended Greenbrier High School and the Robertson County Alternative Program.
According to Emergency Management Agency Director R.L. Douglas last year, Springfield High School, Springfield Alternative School and Greenbrier High School all received bomb threats on March 6th, 2017.
According to records, the incidents interrupted the three schools for several hours.
“The Robertson County Sheriff’s Office is fully committed to providing a safe learning environment to all students in Robertson County Schools,” said Chief Deputy Michael Van Dyke. “We will continue to be diligent in investigating and bringing to justice those that make threats against our students, teachers, and schools.”
