2ND Annual Children’s Winter Coat Collection

Thanks to your generous spirit of giving, more than 60 children in the Springfield area received new or gently used coats last winter. It is amazing to see what can happen in our community coordinate efforts to fill a need. Plans are underway to provide coats for elementary age children in the Springfield community who need to feel warm and cared for this winter. Coats will be delivered to the children in need through Family Resource Center housed at Bransford Elementary.

Here’s how you can participate:

• Purchase a coat for a child (ages 5 to 12) and drop it off at one of the listed drop off sites between October 31 and November 30. Coats will be taken by volunteers to the Family Resource Center.

• Don’t have time to shop? Gift card or cash donations will be accepted and a volunteer will shop for you. A receipt will be provided for you to verify the purchase of a children’s coat for donation.

• Have children who are quickly growing? Donate gently used and clean coats.
