SEMINAR/LUNCHEON

WHITE HOUSE TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – The White House Chamber presents “Learn at Lunch” Credible Threat: Active Shooter on Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at the White House Police Department Training Room from 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM CST. White House Police Sergeant Eric Enck will conduct an educational and informational class on the possible threats to your business. He will offer scenarios, solutions used by others and what to expect from emergency personnel.

CLASS TWO: Byrum-Porter Senior Center in Orlinda

The Byrum-Porter Senior Center in Orlinda will also be hosting a Threat/Active Shooter Training Seminar on December 2nd at 1 p.m. with the Robertson County Sheriffs office and Emergency Management teams.

The class will give provide valuable information on how to prepare for an emergency in a facility that has multiple people in one area.  This could be a senior center, theater, shopping center or even church.  We will learn how to be aware of our surroundings and be prepared as much as possible for an active shooter or any armed terrorist.

Please invite your friends and neighbors to come and be a part of our community that will be as prepared as we can be in any event that might arise. The class is free.

“A few years ago it seemed that we would never need this type of training here in rural Robertson County but times have changed and we need to be aware more than ever that in an emergency we will have to RUN or HIDE or FIGHT,” said Joy George, Executive Director, Byrum-Porter Senior Center
