The Cross Plains Heritage Commission invites you for some BBQ and music on Saturday, October 5, 4-7pm. $8 gets you a great meal plus you can tour the Doctor’s House museum, hang out with some friendly folks, and hear music from some of your neighbors.

The Doctor’s House, circa 1902, is the former home of three doctors; Dr. James J. Covington, Dr. James Thomas and Dr. Burgess Thomas The house is now operated as a museum, family archives and research library for Eastern Robertson County including Orlinda, Lamont, Milldale, Owens Chapel, White House and surrounding areas, as well as Cross Plains.

Owned and operated by the Cross Plains Heritage Commission, a not-for-profit organization that promotes the preservation of local history and also organizes and sponsors the annual Trash & Treasures City Wide Yard Sale each summer.
