Several sources confirmed that Napoleon worked at Electrolux in Springfield and was likely on his way home in his 2010 Ford Focus at the time of the accident. Officials tell Smokey Barn News that Napoleon died on impact.

According to the THP, Napoleon was traveling southwest on Highway 49 when he crossed the roadway (left) and struck a culvert which sent his vehicle airborne into a utility pole.

The THP indicated that Napoleon was wearing his Safety belt and drugs and alcohol were not considered to be factors in the accident.

He was a passionate person full of life. I never once heard Dineau talk of quitting, giving up, or that he couldn’t do something. He was the first to tell a joke and the first to laugh, a real happy person in general.

When his son was born everything immediately became about him. Dineau was really on the right path to laying a good foundation for his family…all I know now is that we are all one less. He was a friend, he was a brother, he was family and will never be forgotten.” Timothy Sampson

According to officials,  2016 is heading towards a record year  for fatal motor vehicle accidents in Tennessee. According to Lieutenant Bill Miller, Public Information Officer for the Tennessee Highway Patrol, statewide, Tennessee is averaging 2.11 traffic related fatalities per day so far this year. The Robertson County area alone has had more than ten fatal wrecks since the beginning of February. MORE

The thoughts and prayers of the staff at Smokey Barn News are with the family and friends of Dineau as they face his sudden loss.
