Don’t Let I-24 Ruin Your Day, Relax & Ride To Nashville
SPRINGFIELD TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – The 89X Springfield/Joelton Express operates weekdays with trips starting at 5:43am to Nashville. (Schedule)
Three park and rides are available for residents to pickup the bus: Downtown Springfield (7th and Main St), Springfield Walmart (3360 Tom Austin Hwy) and Joelton at Gifford & Hwy 431.
For less than the cost of daily parking, customers can ride each way for just $4.25. For youth and seniors the cost is just $2 each way.
Commuters not only have direct access to downtown but can also travel to Nashville’s West End where Vanderbilt University and Medical Center are just a short distance from 89X stops. With a simple transfer at Nashville MTA’s terminal, Springfieldians can access all neighborhood attractions. Or if you just want to explore downtown Nashville, the all electric powered Music City Circuit can get you to all popular downtown destinations in a matter of minutes and it is free of charge.
