Fire Causes Heavy Damage To Coopertown Area Home Sunday

COOPERTOWN TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – A Coopertown area fire caused heavy damage to a home Sunday afternoon. Firefighters from Pleasant View and White House made a great stop saving about half of the structure.

Officials tell Smokey Barn News that no one was inside the home and no injuries were reported.

The home, carrying a Springfield address, is located behind the 49 Market on Flewellyn Rd near Coopertown. MAP

Investigators are still searching for a cause of the fire that started just after 2 pm. Though the home is unliveable, Firefighters saved about 40 percent of the structure.

Crews from Pleasant View, White House Station 52, the Robertson County Emergency Management Agency, Robertson County EMS and the Robertson County Sheriff’s Office all responded to the call.

If investigators are able to establish a cause of the fire, we will bring it to you.
