Fisher Announces Candidacy For Springfield Alderman

SPRINGFIELD TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – Montreal Fisher of Springfield has announced his candidacy for Springfield Alderman Ward 1.

“For those who don’t know me, I am in my junior year at Welch College completing my Bachelor’s Degree in History and in Education. I grew up in Springfield and I love it! I have been actively involved in many political campaigns including Senator Roberts campaign for his Senate Seat.

“I have also interned with former State Representative Joshua Evans. I represent an enthusiastic, younger generation of people getting more actively involved in local politics in Springfield. I want to see action.

“We need to put projects in motion and see visible improvements. Financial prudence and managing taxpayer dollars better are high priority issues. We need to promote investment and job creation so there are opportunities for young people to work in Springfield once they leave high school, and need positive changes to bring our ideas forward respectfully.

“I can bring new energy and new ideas to the table but I am not in this alone. Let me be your voice and let us share a prosperous and sustainable Springfield.

“That’s why I would like to submit my candidacy for the Alderman Ward 1 seat in Springfield currently held by James Hubbard.”
