CROSS PLAINS TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – Former East Robertson High School teacher and Vietnam Vet, Dale Mettler loved to ride horses, restore cars,  golf, and collect native American artifacts and turn them into jewelry.

He’s a guy that likes to do just about everything but all that stopped when he was recently diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (A.L.S.) Doctors tell Dale that he has little time left. With the clock ticking and while he can still effectually communicate, Dale wanted to reach out to the community about A.L.S. and a possible connection for Vietnam Veterans exposed to Agent Orange. He also talks about his fond memories at East Robertson High. It’s an interesting interview with an interesting guy.

Here’s the Golf event Dale talked about. Dale says to be sure to go and support victims of A.L.S. Dale Mettler is sponsored on hole 15, look for his photo at the hole. Dale is unfortunately too ill to attend.
