Friday Night Fire Takes 3rd Unoccupied Home This Week

SPRINGFIELD TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – On Friday night a manufactured home located on Harper Rd in the Greenbrier area was destroyed by fire.

District Chief, Mike Bauer with the White House Community Volunteer Fire Department Station 52 told Smokey Barn News that the cause of the fire is under
investigation.

Agencies from across the county responded to the fire that started around 10:30pm Friday evening.

Firefighters from the White House Community Volunteer Fire Department, Greenbrier Fire, Ridgetop Fire and Pleasant View Fire all responded to the scene.

The Robertson County sheriff’s Office and Robertson County EMS and EMA also responded.

This makes the third unoccupied home fire to go under investigation in less than a week in Robertson County. The first fire was on July 4th on Cave Springs Rd in the Springfield area.  (Full story) The second fire was on July 8th and was located on John L. Patterson near downtown Springfield. (Full story)

It seems unlikely that the three fires have any connection (other than they appear in a straight line on a map) See map below that shows the position and proximity of the three homes to each other. To go interactive on Google-Maps click on the image.3 fire map
