SPRINGFIELD TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – “Historic Springfield Events” presents “1st Friday Night Market” on Friday, July 6, in downtown Springfield on the historic square with lots of family fun activities planned from 6 pm to 9 pm.
The 1st Friday night market is held on the first Friday of each month until September on the Historic Downtown Springfield Square. Hundreds showed up last month and they are expecting an even bigger crowd tomorrow so don’t miss it.
Live music, Multiple food trucks, various vendor booths, kids zone, a classic car cruise in that extends from Main Street down to 8th Avenue!, Farmers market with over 7 farms represented, Dunk A Political Candidate and enjoy shopping with local artisans / makers and your favorite downtown merchants.

This is a FREE event and family/pet friendly! & NorthCrest Medical Center will be passing out free popsicles!
Enjoy live music from Red Light 11, a “Dance Band” with a little old school, a little new school, and all the classes in between.
The musical entertainment is part of the Summer Concert Series presented by Springfield Parks & Recreation. On August 3rd – The World Famous Channel Cats will be performing.
Classic Car Show
We had such a huge turn out of classic cars and trucks last month that we have extended the street closure on Main Street down to 8th Avenue!
********Staging will begin at 5 pm! Please enter the South End of Main Street and a volunteer will help get you parked. ************
Bring your classic car or truck and join us for a fun evening of music and fellowship.
Dunk A Political Candidate
Here is your chance to dunk some of your favorite political candidates in our Dunk Tank on Friday night!
$5.00 gets you 5 balls and a chance to dunk local politicians and candidates running for office here in Robertson County and all the proceeds go back into the next beautification project for the downtown area. Thank you to NorthCrest Medical Center for being our sponsor on this fun event!
