Greenbrier: Multiple Railroad Crossing Repairs Scheduled

TRAFFIC ADVISORY

GREENBRIER TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – Officials in Greenbrier have received word from CSX that several railroad crossings in the city will be shut down for repairs beginning the week of November 26th. At this time it is unknown if the crossings will be closed for the entire week, however, motorists should make alternate travel plans in anticipation of a week-long closure of these crossings.

The closure will affect the Industrial Drive crossing as well as the College Street, Main Street and Lights Chapel Road crossings. Access to and from Old Greenbrier Highway within the city limits will be limited to the crossings at Wilson Street, South Street, and Candy Street. Billy Robb can also be used as an alternate.

Once CSX has completed their work at one or all of these crossings we will notify the public that they may once again utilize the affected crossings.
