Home Fire Near Orlinda Triggers An All County Response

ORLINDA TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – A home in Springfield on Roy Pearson Road (location of fire) is a total loss after a structure fire that started before 4:00PM Wednesday. Several vehicles were also consumed by the flames. RC Fire & Rescue, Cross Plains Fire dept., Orlinda and Springfield fire departments battled the blaze which spread to the adjacent brush.

UPDATE: The home owner Jimmy Kent told Smokey that sadly they’re not carrying insurance. As soon we we have a donation center and a list of their needs we will post them below.

Benefit Bike Night and Auction Thursday April 3rd for Jimmy Kent and his mother who lost their home and everything in it to a house fire this past week. They had NO INSURANCE.

Jimmy, a long time rider himself, has stepped up to help many others throughout out the years by participating in rides and runs. NOW IT’S OUR TIME TO SHOW OUR SUPPORT,

The Cowboys Way Dance Saloon, Half Time Bar & Grill, and Full Cycle Care will be sponsoring/hosting a Benefit Bike Night & Live Auction between The Cowboys Way Dance Saloon and Half Time Bar & Grill to help raise money for Jimmy and his mother.

There will be a Live Auction,50/50 draw, drink specials, ladies night, prizes, giveaways and a live band (band starts at 8).

There will also be a professional photographer set up to take pictures of you and your bike!!!! A picture last a lifetime!!!
