Bryan Stacy Baggett, age 50 of Springfield, died Monday, August 7, 2017 at his home. Graveside services will be conducted Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at 12:00 PM in Springfield Memorial Gardens with Bro. Joey Beaty officiating. Pallbearers will be Adrian Johnston, Mike Woodruff, Danny Darnell, Terry Couts, Jr., Derek Couts, and David Heatherly. There will be no visitation prior to the graveside service.

Mr. Baggett was born September 2, 1966 in Robertson County to Faye Coulter Morphis and Donald Ray Baggett. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and was the former manager of the sanitation department for the City of Millersville. His favorite pastime was fishing.

floral squareHe is survived by his mother, Faye Morphis of Springfield; father: Donald Ray Baggett of Gallatin, son and daughter-in-law, Donnie and Cori Baggett of Cedar Hill; daughter and son-in-law, Brittany and Gary W. Dillard of Greenbrier; step-father, Jimmy Morphis of Madison; sister, Yolanda Morphis of Madison grandchildren, Luke, Emma, Levi, and Ensli Baggett and Coulter Dillard; and another grandchild on the way.

Suzi LeeTeresa Suzanne “Suzi” Lee, 57, of Springfield, died Monday August 7, 2017 at Summit Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Friday August 11th at 1:00 p.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Tim Harris officiating. Interment will follow in Springfield Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Suzi was born April 18, 1960 in Robertson County to the late Charles Samuel and Bettye Coulter Lee. She was an apartment manager and was of the Baptist faith. Suzi enjoyed music, puzzles, waterfalls, rainbows, sunrises, sunsets, watching TV and movies. She collected angels and playing cards. All that knew Suzi called her “Wicked Witch”, because of her love for The Wizard of Oz.

Domer DixonDomer Gene Dixon, 72, of Springfield, died Sunday July 30, 2017 at North Crest Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday August 3rd at 2:00 p.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with James Walker officiating. Interment will follow in Springfield Memorial Gardens with Corey Mayo, Scott Owen, Jade Dixon, Cory Collins, Daniel Thacker, Bobby Haun, Caleb Riddle, and Elroy Byers serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Mr. Dixon was born December 4, 1944 in Livingston, TN to the late Vestil and Edith Walker Dixon. He was a retired framer from Peterbilt and a member of West End Free Will Baptist Church. Mr. Dixon enjoyed raising his vegetable garden, wood working, and being outdoors enjoying watching the hummingbirds. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother: Doyce Dixon and his sister: Nellie Johnson.

floral squareMr. Dixon is survived by his wife of over 54 years: Barbara Heady Dixon of Springfield, son and daughter-in-law: Randall and Teri Dixon of Springfield, daughters and son-in-law: Kathy and Chris Dugan of Springfield, Lisa Patterson of Greenbrier, brother and sister-in-law: Kenneth and Carolyn Dixon of Livingston, eleven grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.

Ida O. PuglieseAge 82 of White House went home to be with the Lord Saturday, August 5, 2017 at Alive Hospice Madison Campus. She was born August 28, 1934 in El Paso, Texas to Felix Alfred and Ellen Antionette Dimaline Aycock. She was a faithful servant of the Lord and a prayer warrior. She loved walking and spending time outdoors. She was a hard working woman who was very opinionated and outspoken, loved politics, commanded attention, loved her family, especially the grandchildren and did everything with dignity and pride. She also thought the 1950’s were the best time in American history.

She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Amanda Antoinette Allen.
She is survived by son, Steven (Tammy) Pugliese; daughter, Michele (Darren) Tate, both of White House, TN; brothers, Anthony Aycock, Grover Beach, CA and Felix Alfred Aycock, II, Fresno, CA; 4 grandchildren, Luke Pugliese, Ashley (James Andrew) Kirk, Lance (Bonnie) Pugliese and Lauren (Coty DeMichele-fiance’) Martin; great-grandchildren, Tiffany, Tristan, Violet, Carter and Eloisa; many loving nieces and nephews.. Graveside service and interment is scheduled for Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at 1pm in Hillcrest Cemetery with Larry Tate officiating. No visitation is planned. Memorial contributions may be made to the Nashville Rescue Mission.

Chris WhiteChristopher “Chris” Shawn White, age 44, of Joelton, Tennessee, died Saturday, August 5, 2017 at his home. Funeral services will be conducted at 6 o’clock pm, on Wednesday, August 9th in the chapel of Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Pleasant View. Following the service, Chris’ remains will be cremated as was his request.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, August 9th, beginning at 4:00PM until the hour of service at 6:00PM.

Chris was born on November 10, 1972 in Nashville, Tennessee. He was employed by the City of Springfield as a heavy equipment operator. He had a love and a great talent for playing the guitar, and was a Christian.

Chris is preceded in death by his mother, Virginia Slavin; an infant brother; grandparents, Sammy & Margaret York; and grandfather, Mitt White.

Frank Lee Cherry Jr.Frank Lee Cherry, Jr., age 81 of Hendersonville, passed away on Saturday, August 5, 2017. Frank was born on September 24, 1935, in Catawba Springs Township, North Carolina, to Ruth Matilda Black and Frank Lee Cherry, Sr.

In his early years, he served as President of his graduating class, and was active in many clubs, including County, district and State 4-H projects and activities from public speaking to livestock judging. He served on a State and National Dairy Judging Team. He was a Green Pastures contest winner and Boy’s State Representative. He was a Beta Club member and played basketball and baseball. Frank graduated from North Carolina State University with a B.A. Degree in Dairy Science, and was President of Farm House Fraternity in 1963-64. After graduating, he worked for Long Meadow Farms, which later became Dairymen Inc. for 33 years before becoming a Management Consultant for the George S. May Company. He was also a member of the Rotary and Civitan Clubs, Masonic Lodge #359, 32nd Degree Scottish Right, the Easter Star and was a Rainbow Girls Board Member. For the past 20 years, he owned and managed Le Print Express in Gallatin, TN.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Rev. Joel David Cherry. He was a loving brother, husband, father and grandfather who will be greatly missed by his wife of 52 years, Effie Lee Aman Cherry; children, Timothy L. (Deborah) Cherry, Suzanne Cherry-Cravens, and Emily (Dwight) Byrd; brothers, Jon (Patricia) Cherry and H. Wayne (Mary) Cherry; grandchildren, Genna Lea Cherry, Cason Lee (Erin) Cherry, Jack Timothy Daniel, Sarah Catherine Cravens, Simon Judson Byrd, Ethan Dwight Byrd and Rachel Elizabeth Byrd; great-grandchildren, Jon Lemuel Cravens and Leia Jolynn Hummell; 7 nephews and 6 nieces.

He was an avid Elvis Fan. He was a ‘people person’ who loved his tattoos. Chris was a history buff, but above all, he loved his family. He is preceded in death by his sister, Melissa Simon.

He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Mary and Ronnie Hasting; his father, Charles Taylor; his daughter, Jessica Thomas; brothers, Shane Allen MacDonald and Jason C. Taylor; nephews, Josh MacDonald and Ryan Bader; a brother-in-law Jacob Backer; and special friend and love of his life, Desiree English Spencer.

Mr. Halleck was born in Hayward, CA on October 25, 1948 to the late George Halleck and Ann Thompkins Amann. He worked for Odom’s Sausage for 26yrs and Homeland security for 8yrs. He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church.

Pearl is preceded in death by her husband, Henry Wall; son, Steve Wall; and siblings, Tyson, Charles, William “H” Hawkins, Walter “Buddy” Frazier, Grace Fielder, Ruby Bradley and Jewel Sanders.

She is survived by daughter, Harriet Wall Bradley; three grandchildren, Nick (Jeri) Bradley, Kasey (Kelly) Dillard, and Kelley Goodman; and nine great-grandchildren, Dallas, Gabe, Reaghan, Braydon, Johnathon and Preston Bradley, McKinley and Henry Dillard and Luther Steven Goodman.

The family received friends on Thursday, from 4:00PM-8:00PM at the Funeral Home and again on Friday from 9:00am until the hour of Service at 12:00am. Mrs. Krantz was born in Macon County, Tennessee on July 17, 1933 to the late Jefferson Eugene and Beulah Pearl Wright York. She was a seamstress, a member of Tenn quilters and a member of Joelton Church of the Nazarene.
