Gene was a Sheet Metal Journeyman for Local 177. Preceded in death by his father, Alton William “Buzz” Morton II; grandparents, Alton William Morton Sr., Evelyn Morton and Sally “Granny” Logan Chunn.

He is survived by his wife, Patti Morton; daughter, Megan Riley Morton; mother, Ella Marsh (Kenneth); brothers, Brannon Morton, Charlie Cecil (Crystal) and Billy Morton (Carolyn); a host of other family and friends.

Peggy Ann GillottiPeggy Ann Gillotti, age 78 of Adams, died Friday, December 29, 2017 at Alive Hospice Skyline Madison Campus. Funeral services were conducted Sunday, December 31, 2017 at 2:00 PM in the Oakhurst Chapelof Robertson County Funeral Home with Dr. Donnie Bryant and Curtis Adams officiating. Burial followed in Bellwood Cemetery with Jeremy Wix, Jason Wix, Jonathan Wix, Kendell Gillotti, Gabriel Adkins, Dalton Thaxton, Austin Reid, and Landon Wix serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers were Dillon Wix and Curtis Young. The family received friends at the funeral home Saturday from 4 until 8 PM and Sunday from 12 noon until the hour of service.

Ms. Gillottti was born April 22, 1939 in Robertson County to the late Bailey Brown Adams and Annie Lou Gezley Adams. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and was a nurse for over 30 years, many which were spent at Golden Living. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also floral squareenjoyed gardening and reading. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Shelleen Adkins and Libby Moore; grandchildren, James and Joshua Wix; brothers, Billy and Jerry Adams; and a sister, Mary Lou Matthews.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Farris Wayne and Debbie Gillotti of Mt. Juliet; daughters and sons-in-law, Lisa and David Kimberly of Adams and Roxanne and Trent Morris of Adams; sister and brother-in-law, Bettye and Billy Gamble of Springfield; 13 grandchildren; and 34 great grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted Friday December 29th at 1:00 p.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Pastor Dewy Keys officiating. Interment followed in Springfield Memorial Gardens with Lavoy Sales, James Sales, Carlos Stewart, Billy Porter, Steve Gibson, and Jimmy Sales serving as pallbearers. The family received friends on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Shirley was born April 24, 1961 in Robertson County to the late Fred Childress and Christine Adams Romans. Her first husband, Claude Albert Keymon also preceded her in death. She worked in maintenance at Springfield Wal-Mart and was a member of North Springfield Baptist Church. Shirley enjoyed cooking, baking, and floral squaretaking care of her family. She is survived by her husband: Tim Robbins of Springfield, daughters and sons-in-law: Crystal Keymon and Lavoy Sales of Cedar Hill, Joyce and Chris Motsinger of Ashland City, brothers: Mike Childress of Indianapolis, IN, and Dale Childress of Ashland City, sister: Linda Stoner of Springfield, grandchildren: Keyera and Kayla Sales.

Destry was born October 27, 1980 in Davidson County TN to Teresa Stone Cook and Ronnie Cook. She worked as a caregiver. Destry played basketball in high school, and she loved sports and spending time with her children. Ray was born on November 7, 1941, to O. F. and Edith Gentry Morris. He was a community Pharmacist for over 50 years, and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Hendersonville and Masonic Lodge #359, and loved spending time with family and friends.

In addition to his parents, Ray is preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Norma.

He is survived by his daughters, Leslie (Bobby) Hudson and Tisha Morris; his sisters, Jeanne Lance and Angie Earls; and his grandchildren, Joshua Hudson and Erica Hudson.

Donald Gordon "Budd" StedmanAge 67 of Cottontown, TN went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at his home. He was born June 20, 1950 in Neptune, NJ to Donald Charles and Pauline Elizabeth Gamble Stedman. He managed and owned his own construction company, The Great Outdoors in White House, until becoming disabled. He loved people and enjoyed conversation with others. He was an avid football fan, especially supporting the Denver Broncos and the Alabama Crimson Tide. The last few years he has spent lots of time “puttering around” in his garage.

He is preceded in death by his father, Donald Charles Stedman. He is survived by wife, Rita Harden; mother, Pauline Andress, both of Cottontown, TN; son, Don Stedman, Statesville, NC; step-daughter, Hope Williams, Wilmington, NC and daughter, Christine (Stephen) Stiltner, Statesville, NC; sister, Nancy (Don) Andress, Gallatin, TN; step-brother, John (Zari) Foster; step-sister, Barbara (Sam) Fussro; 2 grandchildren.

Betty Jo HawkinsAge 65 of White House passed away Friday, December 29, 2017 at Skyline Medical Center. Mrs. Hawkins was born August 22, 1952 in Denver, Colorado to James Harrison and Gertrude Kittrell Brickell.

She worked as an ATM manager for Trust Mark before her retirement and was a member of Temple Baptist Church. She loved dogs, gardening and tending to her flowers. But most of all she loved her family, especially the grandchildren, and made sure they all knew how much she loved them.

In addition to his parents Mr. Henderson is preceded in death by his sisters, Irma Jean Anderson and Molly Jo Vance and his brothers, Kenneth Henderson and Harold Henderson.

Mrs. Head was born June 17, 1927 in Springfield to the late James D. and Elizabeth Crouch Murphy. She was a homemaker and communicant of St. Michael’s Catholic Church.
