Obituary for Milton Barrow
Mr. Milton Barrow, age 51 of Guthrie, passed away on Thursday, January 4th at his home of natural causes.
He was born December 9, 1966 in Robertson County, Tennessee the son of the late Leslie and Dorothy Jean (Elmore) Barrow. He loved fishing and his family especially spending time with his grandson Noah.
He was preceded in death by his parents as well as his daughter Makayla Barrow and two brothers Ricky and Billy Barrow.
He is survived by his wife Sharon Barrow of Guthrie; two sons Jonathan Barrow of Guthrie and Chris Barrow (Alesha) of Colorado Springs, Colorado; three brothers Eddie and Gary Barrow both of Springfield, Tennessee and Dennis Barrow of Guthrie; two sisters Karen Barrow of Adairville and Rita Noe of Springfield, Tennessee and one grandson Noah Barrow of Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Visitation with the Barrow family will be on Friday from 12:00 until Memorial Service time at 2:00 in the Chapel of the Cook-Webb Funeral Home with Rev. Mitch Hedge officiating.

Obituary for Sue Bracey Pyles
Sue Bracey Pyles, 81, of Greenbrier, died Monday January 8, 2018 at NHC Place in Cool Springs. Funeral services will be conducted Friday January 12th at 11:00 a.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Reverend Randy Harmon and Reverend Frank Evans officiating. Interment will follow in the Rock Springs Cemetery with Tony Neal, Brent Neal, Randy Bracey, Sam Dickerson, Trevor Dickerson, and Stetson Dickerson serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Mrs. Pyles was born July 16, 1936 in Robertson County to the late Lurton and Louise Anthony Bracey. She retired from Cigna, where she worked in claims and billing. Mrs. Pyles was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church and the North Crest Medical Center Auxiliary. She loved gardening and spending time with her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Robert Mac Pyles, and by her brother: Phillip L. Bracey.
Mrs. Pyles is survived by her son and daughter-in-law: Brett and Shelly Pyles of Hendersonville, daughter and son-in-law: Lori and Jon Lockmiller of Brentwood, sister and brother-in-law: Mary Ellen and Bobby Neal of Greenbrier, grandchildren: Kayley and Mac Pyles, Nicholas and Robert Lockmiller.

Obituary for Juanita Perry Anderson
Juanita Perry Anderson, 89, of Orlinda, died Sunday January 7, 2018 at the home of her daughter in Dickson. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday January 10th at 12 noon in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Pastor Tommy Hodges officiating. Interment will follow in Springfield Memorial Gardens with William Hodges, Terry Moore, Jason Pitt, Derek Moore, Austin Moore, and Daniel Batson serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Mrs. Anderson was born February 29, 1928 in Robertson County to the late Clarence Odell and Flora Belle Gainous Perry. She was an accounts payable clerk with Service Merchandise and was a member of Providence Baptist Church. Mrs. Anderson loved gardening and going to church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers: Robert R. and William B. Perry, and by her sister: Dorothy P. Reid.
Mrs. Anderson is survived by her son: Stephen Bruce Anderson of Dickson, daughters and son-in-law: Deborah Elaine Steranka of Dickson, Shelia A. and Mike Pitt of Orlinda, her sister: Linda P. Hyder of Nashville, ten grandchildren, twenty-seven great grandchildren, and eight great great grandchildren

Obituary for Gerald Peyton
Gerald “Dicky” Peyton, age 80 of White House, died Friday, January 5, 2018 at NHC Healthcare in Springfield, Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at 11:00 AM in the Oakhurst Chapel of Robertson County Funeral Home with Rev. David Dean officiating. Burial will follow in Springfield Memorial Gardens with Allen Strickland., Lee Pendleton, Charles Strickland, Jay Peyton, Rick Peyton, and Matthew Fite serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 4 until 8 PM, with a Masonic service at 8 PM, and Tuesday from 10 AM until the hour of service.
Mr. Peyton was born February 27, 1937 in Chattanooga to the late Gerald L. and Jane Rice Peyton. He attended East High School in Nashville and was a member of Orlinda Baptist Church and was a veteran of the United States Army. He drove a truck for 40 years and after retirement drove a bus for Robertson County Schools for 15 years. He was a member of Crystal Fountain Lodge and was a Shriner.
\He is survived by his wife, Norma Jean Peyton of White House; sons, Gerald Peyton, Jr. of Goodlettsville and Jay Peyton of Old Hickory; daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and Charles Strickland of Springfield; sister, Sally Oxford of Goodlettsville; and grandchildren, Alyssa Strickland and fiancé’ Matthew Fite and Charles Allen Strickland and wife Brittany.

Obituary for Ann Gail Hatfield Ditmore
Ann Gail Hatfield Ditmore, age 72 of Springfield, TN died Thursday January 4, 2018 at St. Thomas West. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Wednesday January 10, 2018 in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home. Her Sunday School class, The Nancy Coleman Class will serve as honorary pallbearers. Her remains will be cremated after the service. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 12 pm until 1:45 pm.
Gail was born July 6, 1945 in Sparta, TN to the late Adas and Ann Eldridge Hatfield. Her son-in-law, Ted William Nader Rheingold also preceded her in death. She was a member of Springfield First United Methodist Church. She worked as a Rehabilitation Counselor who won the Elkins Award in Indiana in 1973 for her work.
Mrs. Ditmore is survived by her husband of 50 years, Roy Y. Ditmore Jr. of Springfield, TN, daughter, Molly Suzanne Ditmore of San Francisco, CA, sisters, Sue (Wayne) Rogers of Sparta, TN, Sandra Patterson of Manchester, TN and her granddaughter, Mabel Ditmore Rheingold.

Obituary for Mary Olyn Wilson
Mary Olyn Alley “Toast” Wilson, 97, of Springfield, died Wednesday January 3, 2018 at North Crest Medical Center. Funeral services were conducted Saturday January 6th at 1:00 p.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Reverend Diane Coppock and Tim Harris officiating. Interment followed in Springfield Memorial Gardens with Brandt Holt, Rory Alley, Jeff Harris, Gary Alley, Torey Ellis, and Bill Holt serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers were the staff and employee’s of NHC Healthcare in Springfield. The family received friends on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Mrs. Wilson was born September 28, 1920 in Robertson County to the late Noah and Georgia Head Alley. She worked many years at Springfield Acme Boot and then retired from child care at the Springfield YMCA. She was a member of Palestine United Methodist Church. Mrs. Wilson loved everyone and always enjoyed visiting with her family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Joe H. Wilson, her son: Larry Joe Wilson, her brothers: Elgia Alley, Sr., Denzil Alley, Hubert Alley, J.L. Alley, Sr., and by her sister: Louise Drake.
She is survived by her granddaughter Donna, and by a host of nieces, nephews, and family that loved her dearly.
The family wishes to express their appreciation to all of the staff and employees of NHC in Springfield for making the past eleven years of Mary Olyn’s life enjoyable and for taking excellent care of her.

Sandra Marie Spivey, 57, of Springfield, died Wednesday January 3, 2018 at Vanderbilt Medical Center.
Funeral services were conducted Monday January 8th at 1:00 p.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home. Interment followed in the Orlinda Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
The family received friends on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and on Monday from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Mrs. Spivey was born February 8, 1960. She attended Abundant Grace and Fellowship Church. She was a member of the Greenbrier Eastern Star. Mrs. Spivey loved working word puzzles and all her animals. She was preceded in death by her husband: George Spivey. Mrs. Spivey is survived by her fiancée: Albert Hall, III of Springfield

Joyce Ferguson Choate, age 75, of Cunningham, passed away Sunday, January 7, 2018 at Tennova Healthcare in Clarksville. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at 10am in the Greenbrier Cemetery with Brother James Black officiating. No visitation will be held prior to the graveside service.
Mrs. Choate was born September 7, 1942 in Lyles, TN in Hickman County to the late Homer and Beulah Ferguson. She was a homemaker and was a Christian. She was a kind and loving wife and mother and adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Choate is survived by her husband of 46 years, Mr. Nelson Choate; sons, Kirk (Teresa) Summers, Chris (Donna) Choate and Tony (Connie) Choate; daughters, Carrie Summers and Dawn (Larry) Hern; grandchildren, Shawn Summers, Sheryl Summers, Stacey Summers, Corey Choate, Josh Choate, Chad Choate, Rachel Carroll, Stephani Sawyer, Shannah Livingston, Patrick Hern and Matt Hern; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Mark Anthony “Joe” Ford, age 57, of Nashville, passed away Sunday, January 7, 2018 at Skyline Medical Center. A memorial service will be held Thursday, January 11, 2018 at 2pm at the Mt. Denson Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Springfield with Brother J.K. Graves officiating. Visitation will be held at the church on Thursday from 12pm until the hour of service at 2pm.
Mr. Ford was born December 30, 1960 in Springfield to the late Mr. Belton Patterson Ford and Mrs. Patricia Adcox Ford of Springfield. He worked as a welder and was a Christian.
In addition to father Mr. Ford is preceded in death by his grandparents, Marvin and Minerva Ford, Hazel Brown and Fred Adcock.
In addition to his mother Mr. Ford is survived by his wife of 36 years, Kimberly Graves Ford; son, Patterson Graves Ford of Goodlettsville; daughter, Morgan (Kimber) Ford of Rhode Island; brother, Michael (Kris) Ford of Mt. Juliet; sisters, Linda (Tony) Porter of Springfield, Laurie (Tim) Hinkle of Ridgetop and Donna (Raymond) Pulley of Portland; and grandchild, Adeel Ford. Mr. Ford is also survived by a host of loving family and special friends.

Obituary for Roberta Kaplan
Roberta Kaplan, age 80 of Gallatin, passed away at home on Friday, January 5, 2018.
She was a devoted, loving and supportive mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Roberta devoted her life to her family. Having taught in the California and Tennessee school systems for 54 years, she is known as an incredible educator and role model. She always put others before herself. She is responsible for acting the role model of Matriarch for her family. She enjoyed nothing more than spending time with her daughter and son-in-law, her grandchildren, and her great-grandchildren. She is an inspiration to all who knew her.
Roberta is preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Sylvia Silberman; and her sister, Anne Keowns. She is survived by daughter, Beth (Arnold) Rickert; her grandchildren, Erik (Brittni) Rickert, Matthew (Courtney) Rickert, Nicole (Gary, Jr.) Craddock, Amzi-Lynn Rickert, and Brittany Rickert (Stephen); and her great-grandchildren, Isabella Craddock, Benjamin Craddock, Owen Rickert, Adalynn McDonald, Kylee McDonald, and Skylar Rickert.
Her family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 10, from 4-6pm and a Celebration of Life Memorial Service honoring her will begin at 6pm officiated by Rabbi Nancy Tunick.

Obituary for William Kevin Wright
Age 54 of White House passed away Thursday, January 4, 2018 at his home. He was born August 18, 1963 in Nashville, TN to Jimmy Allen and Carol Mary Wiley Wright. He was retired from DuPont where he worked in production and continued to be employed by 3M until his death. He was a hard worker and was a talented handyman, always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed him. He played football and baseball at Madison High School, where he graduated in 1982. He continued after high school, playing baseball on scholarship for Aquinas College. He was an avid UT and Titans football fan. He loved hunting and bass fishing and spending time watching NASCAR. He loved his family and was known to “have a heart of gold”.
He is preceded in death by his father-in-law, Donald “Ducky” Presley. He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Amy Jo Presley Wright; sons, Franklin Troy Anderson and James Dillon Wright; daughter, Karlie Jo (Trent Allen) Biggs; grandson, Carson James Wright; parents; Jimmy Allen & Carol Wiley Wright; brother, Keith Vincent Wright; mother-in-law, Sandra Presley, all of White House, TN; sister, Kelly Wright (Michael) Douglas, Goodlettsville, TN.
A Celebration of Life Memorial service is scheduled for Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at 6pm in the chapel of Austin & Bell Funeral Home in White House, with Pastor Kenneth Massey officiating. Visitation is planned for Wednesday, January 10, 2018 3-6pm at the funeral home prior to the service.

Beatrice Robbins Cook, age 74, of Orlinda, passed away Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at her home. A graveside service was held Saturday, January 6, 2018 at the Turner Church Cemetery in Middlesboro, KY. Burial followed with family and friends serving as pallbearers. No visitation was held prior to the graveside service.
Mrs. Cook was born November 29, 1943 in Middlesboro, KY to the late Clendall and Martha Howerton Robbins. She was a homemaker and member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents Mrs. Cook is preceded in death by her sister, Marie Denny.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry Cook; daughters, Angela Cawthon of White House and Cathy Ayres of Springfield; brothers, Elwood Robbins and LeRoy Robbins; sister, Myrtle Britton; grandchildren, Shasta Gossett and Brandon Ayres; and great-grandchildren, Justin Craig and Daniel Dennis.

Dale Edward Lee, age 60 of Hendersonville, passed away on Wednesday, January 3, 2018. He is known as a devoted husband, father and grandfather who enjoyed spending time on his boat and fishing, as well as dabbling in gunsmithing.
He is preceded in death by his father, William Travis Lee. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Julianne; his daughter, Nicole Lee Young; his son, Travis Alan Lee; his mother, Marion Lee; and his grandchildren, Michael Dale Young and Charles Travis Young.
His family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 9, from 1:30pm until his Celebration of Life Service at 2:30pm at St. Joseph of Arimathea Episcopal Church located at 103 Country Club Drive in Hendersonville.
