Obituary for Stanley England

Stanley EnglandStanley England, age 76 of Springfield, died Friday, April 21, 2017 at his home. Funeral services will be conducted in the Oakhurst Chapel of Robertson County Funeral Home Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at 2:00 PM with Tim Harris officiating. Burial will follow in Springfield Memorial Gardens with Mike Belt, Bruce Traughber, Steve “Tall Pine” Stubblefield, Eric Pulley, Paul White, and Gary Robinson serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Wayne Leding, Tyler Leding, Greg Tapley, Nickie Scott, John Michael Head, Clay Head, Ronnie Eden, Andy Mason, Anthony Morris, Gene Morris, Jimmy Hart, Nolan Blick, William Head, Dwight Reed, Mark Calvert, Tony Fyke, Galloway Harper, Jason Harper, Darren Hallman, Patrick Reed, Walt Scruggs, Ronnie Scott, John White, Mike Byrum, and Jackie Campbell. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 4 until 8 PM and Wednesday from 11 AM until the hour of service.
Mr. England was born December 16, 1940 in Robertson County to the late Rayburn Stanley and Louise Traughber England.

He was a member of Oak Grove Baptist and was a retired truck driver. He enjoyed farming, truck driving, and visiting with his neighbors. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Jamie Fyke England, and a sister, Joyce Belt.

floral squareHe is survived by his wife of 54 years, Judy M. England of Springfield, son, Michael England and companion, Kristy White of Springfield; daughters, Judith Leding and husband Wayne of Springfield and Shelia Scott and husband Nickie of Adairville, KY; sister, Annetta Scott of Melbourne, FL; and grandchildren, John Michael Head, Casey Head, Mackenzie Leding, Tyler Leding, and Mckayla England.

The family request, if so desired, for memorial contributions to be made to the American Cancer Society. All donations can be sent c/o Robertson County Funeral Home.

Ms. Rimington was born on April 20, 1964 in Nashville, TN to the late Harold and Gloria Evelyn Davenport Spicer. Tracey loved her pets, flowers, and cooking.

She is survived by her life partner; Donnie Haneline of Springfield, brother; Harold “Bubba” Spicer of Springfield, sister and brother-in-law; Gloria and Charles Lassiter, Niece; Kesha West, Nephew, Logan Lassiter, and great nieces and nephew; Caden Anderson, Makenzie West, and Kaley West.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday beginning at 1 pm until the hour of service at 3.

Valarie was born September 18, 1962 in Hamilton, Alabama to JoAnn Montgomery McCommon and the late Doug McCommon. She was a homemaker who cherished spending time with her granddaughter. She had a love of nature and especially bird watching.

floral squareMrs. Mitchell is survived by her mother, JoAnn McCommon of Greenbrier; husband, Greg Mitchell of Greenbrier; son, Jamie Fisher of Greenbrier; granddaughter, Katelynn Fisher of Greenbrier and sister and brother-in-law, Shireen and Lanny Dean of Springfield.

Juanita Stewart McPeakJuanita Stewart McPeak, age 86 of Springfield, TN died Thursday April 19, 2018 at NHC in Springfield.

A Celebration of Life was held at 2 pm on Sunday April 22, 2018 in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Rev. Ed Coy officiating. Burial followed in Springfield Memorial Gardens. David T. Sloan IV, Travis Comer, Chad Bumpus, James Briggs, Max Bumpus and Keali Sloan will serve as pallbearers. Wayne Prichard, William Hardison, Nathan Womack, Sidney Wright and Julius Clemmons served as honorary pallbearers. The family received friends at the funeral home on Saturday April 21st from 2 pm to 6 pm and again on Sunday from 12 noon until 1:45 pm.

Mrs. McPeak was born on October 2, 1931 in McMinn Co, TN to the late Bob and Callie Davis Stewart. Her husband, Zera C. McPeak, brothers, Jerdan, James, Samuel and Calvin Stewart, and sisters, Dorothy Stewart McMillan and Nellie Sue Stewart Elrod also preceded her in death. Juanita was a member of Woodland St. UMC and was a retired musician. She was active in many things related to music, having sang in the church choir, taught guitar lessons in Springfield, she was a founding member of the Springfield Squares and played with her twin sister Oneta on the Louisiana Hayride as the Stewart Twins.

Robert EnglishRobert Lawrence English, age 72, of Springfield, passed away Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at his home. Mr. English’s remains will be cremated and a Memorial Gathering of Family and Friends will be held Wednesday, April 25, 2018 from 5-8pm in the chapel of the Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Springfield.

Mr. English was born January 24, 1946 in Springfield to the late William and Anne Roe English. He was an attorney in Springfield for many years, a veteran of the U.S. floral squareArmy and was a member of the Springfield Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents Mr. English is preceded in death by his brother, William English. He is survived by his wife, Kelly Chilcutt; nieces, Karen (Lee) Ferguson of White House and Lori Sowell of Springfield; and Special Friend, Karen Hamill of Springfield.

Frank KilgoreCharles Franklin Kilgore (“Frank”), age 83, of Joelton, Tennessee, died Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 o’clock pm, Friday, April 27th, at New Hope Free Will Baptist Church with Bro. Corey Minter and Bro. Tom Malone officiating.

Burial will follow in New Hope Cemetery with nephews serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends from 3:00-8:00PM on Thursday, April 26th, at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Pleasant View and again on Friday at New Hope Free Will Baptist Church beginning at 11:00AM until the hour of service at 1:00PM.

Mr. Kilgore was born on October 30, 1934 in Smithville, Tennessee to the late William Thomas and Vennie Ann Hendrixson Kilgore. He served in the United States Army Reserve, and was retired from Ford Glass. Frank enjoyed farming, golf, music, and spending time with his family and friends. He was a member of New Hope Free Will Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by siblings, Erie Kilgore, Ruby Hendrix, Jimmy Kilgore, Glen Kilgore, Patsy Majors, Don Kilgore, Sam Kilgore, and Virginia Knepper Amburgy.

Survivors include his wife, Sandra Kilgore; son, Charles F. (Pam) Kilgore, II; daughters, Karen (Eric) Saul, and Theresa Hughes; brothers, Jack (Peggy) Kilgore, Bryant (Dean) Kilgore, Harold (Jackie) Kilgore, and Kelly (Ginny) Kilgore; sisters, floral squareMyrtle Ruth Reeder, Gaynell (Gilford) Walker, and Sharon (Roby) Binkley; grandchildren, Katherine Saul, Eric Saul, Ava Jo Kilgore, Charles F. Kilgore, III, and Kaitlan Hughes; and many nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Black was born on January 19, 1921 in the Coopertown community to the late Willie and Ada Browning Lee. She was a homemaker and a member of Flewellyn floral squareBaptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband, Leonard Black; son, Jerry Black; and brothers, David Lee, William “Bob” Lee, and Edward Earl “Bub” Lee.

She is survived by her sisters, Louise Murphy and Betty Jean Lehenbauer, both of Franklin, TN; a host of loving nieces & nephews.

Peter Keith KeBaughPeter Keith KeBaugh, age 69 of Hendersonville, passed away on Saturday, Apri1 21, 2018. He had been employed at Dupont for over 45 years as an Electrical Engineer. He enjoyed running and the outdoors. He was preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Julie KeBaugh.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Linda KeBaugh; sister, Karen Cattron of Rochester, New York and his brother, Lane KeBaugh of California, Maryland.

There are no services planned for Mr. KeBaugh at this time.

His services have been entrusted to Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Hendersonville, Tn.
