During his thirteen years at the Lyric, his talents were recognized and rewarded with adjunct professorships at Trinity International University, Deerfield, IL, Judson University, Elgin, IL and Wheaton College, Wheaton, IL. Thomas taught studio voice, comparative arts and directed choral groups and operas.
