Jeep Crashes Into Store, Then Leaves: Police Seek Driver

PLEASANT VIEW TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – According to Pleasant View Police, a Jeep crashed into a store located in a shopping center on Ren Mar Dr Saturday morning around 7:00am.

The incident took place at the Tobacco Patch. “Thankfully they just finished relocating to the bay beside the liquor store. No one was in the store and the driver drove off,” Pleasant View Mayor Perry Keenan said.

People can call Pleasant View city hall if they have any information on who the driver may be. The bumper was pulled off (during the accident) and it has been taken into evidence.

The business had just relocated so no merchandise was in the store at the time of the crash. No one was inside the business.

UPDATE:  Pleasant View Police have identified a suspect in this case. He was taken onto custody on Monday and charged with driving on a revoked licence and leaving the scene of an accident.

If anyone has any information of the owner of the vehicle they are asked to call Pleasant View PD at 615-746-0600.FullSizeRender (8)
