Millersville Dev Services Director Charged With Forgery

MILLERSVILLE TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) –  The Millersville Development Services Director has resigned following allegations that he forged city documents.

According to Millersville Police, the investigation began on September 13th after detectives received a complaint that the City of Millersville Development Services Director, Arthur Michael Barr, had forged official city documents.

Millersville Police immediately began an investigation. On Wednesday, September 18th, Millersville Detectives obtained four criminal warrants for Mr. Barr’s arrest.

Today Mr. Barr turned himself into the Sumner Co. Jail and was released on bond.

Mr. Barr has since resigned from his position with the City of Millersville. This is still an active investigation and more charges are possible, therefore, no additional information will be released.

Arthur M. Barr, Jr. was charged with 4 counts of passing forged documents. His bond was set as $1000.00. He was released on R.O.R. Mr. Barr’s court date is set for November-13th-2019.
