Millersville Man Confesses To Multiple Counts of Child Rape
Over 20 Years
MILLERSVILLE TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – On Monday April 2, 2018 Millersville Police began an investigation into alleged allegations of child rape.
During the course of the investigation, Juan N Mendez, 59 of Millersville admitted to sexually assaulting a 5-year-old child numerous times over the past 6 months according to Lieutenant Dustin Carr with the Millersville Police Department.
Mr. Mendez also told law enforcement that he allegedly has had multiple victims over the past 20 years.
Carr stated that Detectives are currently trying to identify additional victims and are asking anyone with information to contact Millersville Police by calling 615-859-2758. Potential victims could be from Sumner and Davidson counties since Mendez has lived in both areas.
On 04/04/18, Mr. Mendez was charged with five counts of rape of a child and is currently in the Sumner County Jail on a $500,000.00 bond.
