News Eve Years Storm Causes Flooding And Down Trees

SPRINGFIELD TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – For the most part Robertson County is taking all the rain and wind fairly well according to officials with the Emergency Management Agency, however, we do have some flooding on roadways and as you would expect, trees down.

Around 2 pm officials were called to a home in Springfield after a large tree broke loose and crashed on to a home on Bessie Street. MAP The tree took out the home’s porch and damaged two vehicles. Fortunately, the resident escaped the home without injury but the home will need repairs before it’s livable again.

The worst of the storm seems to have passed us but if you plan to be on the roads tonight you may still want to use a little extra caution.
