Power Outage Hits Adams-Cedar Hill-Clarksville For 2nd Night

ADAMS/CEDAR HILL TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – Adams, Cedar Hill and parts of Clarksville are without power again this evening. The outage map looks very similar to last night’s power outage.

No word on an exact cause of tonight’s outage or if it is in anyway connected to last nights outage but CEMC is hard at work restoring power to the affected areas. The first reports of the outage came in at 11:20pm.

About 1700 customers are affected in Robertson county. Combined with Clarksville that number is currently about 7000 customers without power.

As soon as we have word on a cause and time to restoration of power we will bring it to you.

UPDATE: 1:10PM At 1am Adams and Cedar Hill came back on line. Parts of Clarksville (about 16oo customers) and a new outage area directally above Springfield has gone dark, about 600 customers.

There was a report of a down power line on Youngville Rd around 12″am but officials we not able to locate it.

UPDATE: At 1:25am Clarksville came back on line. The small section of Springfield is still off line.

UPDATE: 1:45am All power has been restored thanks to the great efforts of CEMC in these frigged temperatures.
